Affiliate World Asia 2022 was one for the record books!

More than 5,000 ticket-holders turned up for two action-packed days of learning, connecting, deal-making and partying.

What were the best parts? We’re glad you asked…

What Did We Learn?

The most popular speech at AW Asia belonged to Nik Sharma, who revealed how to create offers and funnels that keep CPAs down and drive high conversion rates with new audiences.

Nik packed the house, and he didn’t disappoint – attendees left with a step-by-step customer acquisition formula for landing pages and the user flow hacks he uses to maximize conversion rates.

Other speaker highlights included Matt Diggity and Greg Elfrink discussing the future of SEO for affiliates, Christopher Reader‘s strategy to scale YouTube affiliate commissions (with a $122M case study to prove it), and Kris Sugatan‘s three-step system for creating $1M viral ads on TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram.

What Did We Get?

The speeches and stages at AW Asia are great, but the real magic happens out in the marketplace.

AW’s world-class marketplace is always an amazing place to mingle, but this year truly reached a whole new level. With 5,000+ attendees from 110+ countries, 210 exhibitors, and dozens of networks in one place, there were lots of inspiring conversations and deals happening everywhere you looked.

This may come as a shock if you’ve never attended an event like this, but it’s a lot easier to connect with the right ad networks and brands when everyone is in one place, under one roof.

Top affiliate networks (360Affiliates, Algo-Affiliates, Supreme Media, Optimus), as well as direct advertisers and service providers (Exness, PIN-UP Partners) representing every conceivable vertical and specialty, were on hand for attendees to network with.

But it did not end there. They got to mingle with leading traffic sources, agencies, and service providers too.

What Did We Do?

It’s not a real Affiliate World conference if things don’t get a little rowdy after-hours. This trip to Bangkok was no exception.

The vibe was great, as lots of old friends reconnected after a long time away – for some, this was their first big event post-Covid, so there was definitely a need to let loose.

Speaking of letting loose, there was a great turnout at the Affiliate Block Party in particular, but lots of other clubs and venues were poppin’ off too, as the kids say. Happy hours, rooftop cocktails at sunset, music – everything you could want after a full day at the conference.

It was out at these late-night events, by the way, that we finally answered an age-old question: “Does being a good affiliate marketer make you a flip cup master?” (As it turns out, no. The answer is no.)

What Did We See?

We can’t talk about the parties and nightlife without mentioning the amazing city of Bangkok, where AW Asia is back in full swing.

First, the Centara Grand and Bangkok Convention Centre, where the event is held, is phenomenal. The city itself is an incredible place to visit, and a lot of the attendees who were there for the first time stayed longer to see the sights and travel to the tropical islands.

If you’re interested in seeing the world, growing your business, and making long-lasting connections… well, you missed this chance. But there’s another Affiliate World coming up soon, and you shouldn’t miss it.
