Push Notifications

Interviewer:
?️ Push notifications seem to be making a big comeback. This format was very popular in the early mobile days when both Android and iOS devices didn’t really limit its use. Have you noticed this too?
Jackey Liu:
Yes, of course. As you know, Google has a very strict policy on these kinds of ads so we have to look for more kinds of ads. In Mobvista, we do a lot of rewards videos, which means we are trying new kinds of ad platforms. I think we have to try to look forward in the future years.

Sweepstakes Niche in 2019

Interviewer:
?️ Sweepstakes seem to never die, have you forecasted a strong 2019 for this niche, is it still the best bet for mobile right now?
Jackey Liu:
It’s not the best year, but it’s not the worst year. You still have a chance. The most important thing is what we can provide for the users and advertisers. We want to make money but we have to provide. I think we have to find a new chance in this kind of business. It’s hard, very hard, but I think you have the chance. Yeah.

Geos On The Rise

Interviewer:
?️ What geos have you seen on the rise this past year?
Jackey Liu:
As you know, Mobvista has maybe more than ten offices around the world. In the past years, we can look at maybe Japan, Korea, the US. They are the best market in this kind of business. This year, India is also coming back.

Traffic Sources aside from Facebook and Google

Interviewer:
?️ For our ecommerce marketers and store owners, what advice can you give them when looking for traffic outside of Facebook and Google?
Jackey Liu:
As you know, Facebook is one of the best traffic for ecommerce, but it’s very expensive. It’s more and more expensive. So you have to look at other ad platforms like Mobvista. We provide all kinds of traffic. Except for Facebook and Google, we have the media buyers and affliates who can do a large amount of traffic on native platforms. We have our own DSP and we also have our own reward videos, which is very good for the ecommerce offers. We did have a good job with a lot of big advertisers in China such as AliExpress. Yeah. I think for the ROI in this industry, we have to try different kinds of ads. As I know, native is very good. Native is good and videos have a chance.

Neutralite

Interviewer:
?️ We see that you’ve launched a new brand, Neutralite, can you tell us something about it?
Jackey Liu:
For the Nutralite, we want to try more kinds of chances in this industry. Maybe in the past, everyone knows us as a CPI business, maybe a CPA business, but now we also want to show everyone here we can also do business with CPL, so why not join us and make money with us.
